Bud Anderson - Creative director
The idea cow. Moo.
Bud has lots of big ideas and he will tell you all about them. After six years as the Creative Video Director at Stanford University, Bud started dangerbrain in 2014 with the slogan “Connect and Create” in his pocket.
He loves building new business, connecting with clients, coming up with new creatives, solving problems and developing extraordinary videos.
Stuff Bud does: Directing, Scripting, Storytelling, Music production, Interviewer, Actor, Voiceovers, Editing and Post Production and hanging with cool clients.
Fun fact: He’s a professional singer and can also do the side moonwalk.
MARISA - Director of photograhy
The All-Seeing Eye
You’ll see half of Marisa most of the time as the other half of her face is often parked behind our biggest cameras!
Marisa comes from Marin originally and joined the team via Portalnd State University. She’s in charge of the cameras, lenses, ND’s, focus, audio and making you look perfect. Need a smooth shot? Marisa is on the gimbal.
Stuff Marisa does: Camera, lighting, audio, scrpting, motion graphics and editing.
Fun fact: Former soccer player and speaks some Italian!
margaret goldsworthy - editor
The Speedstress
Margaret is fast at editing. No, you don’t get it. Really fast.
Margaret comes to the dangerbrain team with a degree in film from UC Santa Cruz. She’s the in-house guru for motion graphics and handles most of the editing that comes through the door. She’s really fast, did we mention that? She loves building graphics from vector images, large monitors and working with 6K video.
Stuff Margaret does: Scripting, Storytelling, Editing and Post Production, Client Relations and running the business when Bud is on vacation.
Fun fact: She is in a zoom writing club and has a cat named Mina.
